I originally made this mix as an audition tape to send to an after hours nightclub, but that nightclub got shut down before I could send it. Instead of just deleting the mix itself, because it’s one of the cleanest mixes that I’ve ever made, I decided to post it for the world to hear as well. The musicality of the mix that I made is at a level that I don’t think I ever expected to hit with a new genre. The sound that came out I am really really happy with.
It isn’t something that I would normally post or listen to, but after making the mix for the first time, I really enjoyed the music and the process of making it, and would definitely do it again in the future.
