Bounce is one of those genres that has seemed to die over the last couple of years. No matter what happens to it, or the active artists in it, I never see it show up on social media or in major festivals anymore. That’s why I wanted to make this mix. To try a new genre that I haven’t tackled before, as well as what feels like a forgotten genre in general.
Maybe one day we will see a return of bounce music, like jersey bounce, or Melbourne bounce, but until then I will renew this mix almost every year until I can get it right.
